Anyone Using A Panasonic TH-42PZ80 With There X360 Or PS3?

Hi

I want to buy my new HDTV in the next few weeks and am seriously
considering the Panasonic TH-42PZ80.

I went to my local Panasonic/Sony dealership today to view the
Sony 40V4000 and 40W4000 side by side but they were completely
out of stock, however they did have a 42PZ80 showing some lovely HD material and PQ was stunning.

What i would really like to know is how good is X360 & PS3 gaming on this plasma im not talking about
image retention, possible phospher trails Etc i would just like to know about picture & image quality compared
to an LCD as i have never seen any HD gaming footage on plasma TV's?

It will have better PQ than the Sony's. Better blacks, better colour and better motion handling.

I have one and its stunning. I went from a Tosh 42" 1080p Lcd to the Pz80 and the diference is superb. Xbox and ps3 both look superb on this screen.
Screen burn and retention is nowhere near as bad as its made out to be. I have left mine for hours on the same screen and have had no probelems with either.

best item i have bought in a long time, you will not regret great picture with SD, BR and Ps3 . it even makes my wii look better than my old sammy Lcd

me too, using this rig on my xbox360... it's fantastic... i can play "Defender" on a 42" screen !

Amazing TVs, i have pz80 and love it, just want an upgrade to the 50 kuro now

I have one setup with my ps3 and its a superb TV. Once you set it up properly the picture is stunning - games look amazing and I was blown away by bluray. I havent had any problems with gaming on it and I would say if you do get one you won't be disappointed.

I have one with my PS3 and as said it is stunning - the picture is simply amazing. Had no image retention at all on it, defo worth it!
