Anyone using fedora6 to connect to as400/iseries ?

managed to finally get fedora loaded on to my works laptop, now i need to get software transfered/setup for the daily work.

one of these is ibm's personal communications/5250 emulation software, been looking everywhere but not found any walk thru that tells me how i do it and what to do.


anyone got a similar setup that can offer advice ?

I used x3270 ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/x3270/ ) a while ago on Gentoo Linux to connect to a z/OS shell (MVS? - I can't remember...) on a IBM zSeries, that may work in your case but i think TN5250 would be more applicable if you're specifically looking for a 5250 terminal emulator. ( http://tn5250.sourceforge.net/ )
