Anyone using TalkTalk Fibre services?

I'm currently with TalkTalk and before you say anything - I'm actually very happy with them.
A couple of outages over the 2 years I've been with them, no billing issues and never had the need to contact their support department.

I've been informed that "High SPeed Fibre" is now available in my area. They can offer me an "Up to 80mb" connection:

60mb Down, 18mb Up

It needs an engineers installation at £30 and an 18 month contract.
Just wondered if anyone else was on TalkTalk fibre and if so how they were getting on.
 
I'm in the same position as you and to be honest have been put off going with anyone as the contracts are so long its still a risk given how new it all is.

Actually TalkTalk looks like it could be expensive given its line rental plus phone package plus £10 / £15 for the fibre. For me adding fibre would take my talktalk plus to about £42 a month!
 
One of the fears I've got is moving from TalkTalk to another provider. As I said at the beginning I've had no issue with Talk Talk again.
What worries me is the 14+ days of no broadband you might see if moving from TalkTalk to another provider - that would be a killer!
