If so, are any of your sites down? I host all mine with tso but they are all currently dead. Happened earlier but they reappeared for a while before going again. Even their own site seems down...

Yup. Perhaps your DNS server is feeling under the weather.

This is usually due to the firewall blocking you due to repeated login failures (it looks to the system like a brute force attack).

Certainly nothing is or has been down.

If you email your IP address (www.whatismyip.com) to [email protected] we will see if you're in the block list.

Do you mean someone was trying to login to one of my sites with the wrong password or trying to login to my cpanel? Strange, I personally was logged in ok when it disappeared and certainly know my passwords for all the sites as I check them several times per day. I will mail my IP anyway, thanks.

The system requires 10 consecutive login failures within a fixed period of time to cPanel, SSH, webmail, POP3 or IMAP.

It could also be a routing glitch, especially since I notice you're in Australia. This would most likely be neither the fault of your ISP or your hosting provider but can be dealt with if diagnosed. Just drop us an email and we'll help you out.
