Anyone using Wegovy?

Mine are free picked them up today but this drug was made for people like me.
And no I am not to use it while I'm ion holiday next week.
I've got to give at least a weeks worth of blood sugar levels before my first dose.

Did anybody start getting Ozempic face yet ? Also do you plan to take it eternally because I wonder what the cold turkey is like when you come off it, if you want to eat multiple cold turkeys and the rest of the farm all the time ?

I personally worked for 37 consecutive 18+ hour days on the trot, missing my scheduled December holiday, Christmas day, time away visiting family, etc., everything, purely concentrating on getting all of our data back into all the right places for the company.
I think you should go back to the hospital to get your brain checked out as well, as this is simply crazy.

You're ill, and instead of taking some time off, you choose to do the opposite, and work yourself to the ground even more, then wonder why your body feels so weak?

Your post talks a a lot about how you never take any time off or go on holiday, do you want a medal or something? That's nothing to be proud of, it's actually the opposite, shows that you live to work, instead of working to live, which is never a good thing.

I think you should take some perspective about what's important in life - making sure some random data for some company is in the right place is not.

And to get back on topic, your very long winded story with a lot of irrelevant information doesn't change the fact as was stated by another member, you could have lost 9kg in a month without injecting yourself. But I can see why you would take it, probably too busy obsessing about your work to actually lose weight properly.

Ok so having looked in to this a bit it's actually piqued my interest a bit too.

Granted I've got a sexy AF dad-bod but still.

I'm seeing loads of stuff online, from Voy to Juniper to Asda to Boots.

Must be quite a profitable bandwagon this one.

Anyway, who uses what and can you recommend anything? Some of them start as low as £135 (Voy) but I'm sure that will rise as the plans go on.

What sort of prices are you all paying? Do the costs go up or stay the same?

Just trynna see where the best value is.

Cheers :)

I understand the attraction but this is one of those drugs that really has had no long term studies and while im usually the first to throw my chips all in at anything this feels like another 30 years down the line, potential disaster.

No i have zero education in the medical field and yes i take a small weekly dose for type 2 diabetes and sure by god id benefit from a course of it..

This was made for us but you have to be pretty bad like me.
Bad blood suger?
Mines pretty borderline good since getting this.
How bad is yours, if you wanna say, don't if you don't. Id have to check my last test results.
Maybe Swedish health service has a different approach

Edit actually don't say it's private.
Personal. I've read enough about yours to see you have a struggle.

I don't care dude, last 3 have been 74, 74 and 75
My daily readings are around 12
I'm going Benidorm at 3am so I expect them to go up :)

I’m on Mounjaro, week 10 starts tomorrow, I’ve lost 3 stone (but I was near 25!) so got a while to go yet, but so far energy levels have massively improved. Still working through a daily calorie deficit and trying to do around 8-10k steps a day, 3l of water.
So far so good but you do have to put the work in, not just take the jab and miracles happen.

I'm trying to lose a stone at the moment and whenever i'm in calorie deficit my sleep suffers. I tend to have nightmares and wake up a couple of times a night.Unless i am just special I assume this happens to those on Wegovy/Ozempic/insert similar product.

Can anyone relate?

No. I have had zero side effects.

I'm not using any of these medicines but I have lost 50kg by not eating carbs and eating a high protein/animal fat diet. I used to have poor sleep on a high carb diet and it would get worse if I did calorie restriction, but since switching diet completely I sleep the best I ever have, no interruptions and tend to wake up earlier in the mornings now feeling refreshed, instead of feeling groggy and struggling to get up.

I also no longer get cravings for sweet/sugary foods.

This was the huge win I found from low-carb. I've fallen off the wagon again and trying to get back to it.

I'm curious what low-carb folk here eat on a daily basis, as so many things are now either 'bad' or 'expensive' and whatever I settle in to (easy to make/consume) seems to suddenly be 'bad for me' again, which makes it harder to continue.
