I'm off on holiday shortly, so I've a distinct lack of money, but still need my upgrade fix
After fitting an Accellero cooler to my 9600GT, it's practically freezing.. idled at 32 last night, and loads at ~45, so I reckon I've got some headroom for overclocking
The card already overclocks 100mhz each on the GPU and GDDR, but I've read a fair few sites that say the GPU voltage can be upped from 1.1 to 1.4 easily, without damage to the card - has anyone tried this? It seems to be just a case of opening and closing a few bridges (although I've had a look, and they're tiny - I'd best stay off the coffee before taking a solder to it
