anyone voltmodded there 7900GSs ??

hi guys just wondering if any of you have done the conductive ink/pencil voltmod on your 7900s what clocks did you get and how did everything go?

When I had my 7900GS I voltmodded to 1.4V/2.2V core/mem.

Got my core to 660 and mem to 900. Definitely worth it. Just watch out for those resistors on the back. I managed to knock one off when I was attaching a fan to the VF-900 screws on the back of the gfx card to blow over the NB. That was an expensive mistake

I didn't use the conductive ink one myself but it looks like the best one to use. I didn't see it before I joined the pins up in a different place.

Definitely go for it and rack that baby up. you'll be looking at a 150% OC almost

If you need the VF-900-CU cooler then I'll send it to you really cheap. Contact me through trust if you're interested. Mines in perfect condition. I killed the card just a couple of weeks after getting the cooler.

done the conductive ink voltmod to the gpu. its stable at 700Mhz. The highest I had it before the voltmod was 600Mhz.

highly recommend getting a zalman vf-900 even at min fan speed my max temps were 56C.

hi forgot to mention i have 2 both with zalman vf-700 cu led they do 620/1800 atm just hoping i can get a bit more with a volt mod

Darg do you have a link to them mod you did to yours as im abit unsure about the ink mod as they are new and im not good with modding

Just search for 7800GT volt mods. They're all the same PCB and work the same for both cards.

Have the volt mod on my 7900gt and it works fine and clocks better
