Having weird and annoying problems with this at the moment. I use my 320GB HDD on the network to house my iTunes etc.

Each time I load OSX I would load WD EazyLink to connect to the Net Centre, and all is done. The iTunes is pointed to that server/folder.

Now though, EazyLink fails to load properly. It will load and connect but when I close it crashes.

When I try to connect to it through Finder, I can broswe all the files as normal.

It appears twice, once through my EazyLink program, and again by probably auto detection when Leopard loads. Doesnt matter which I tell iTunes to point to they cannot load the songs?

I'm completely baffled, and cannot access any of my beloved music :(:(

Edit. I have no permissions set, or usernames and passwords. It's completely open. ???

Just to see if anyone else is having problems with ANY External Disk?

I talked to our Steve Jobs (EVH) and he stated problems with some connected to a Extreme?

I cannot really see a specific thread in Apple's discussion forum(s).

Using my detection utility program under Windows works fine using the Extreme, and to be honest it works ok in Mac.

Its just when I use iTunes and try to add stuff, it will say I don't have enough permissions. I sort of remember previous problems around the same error?

The whole drive is open/shared and has full read/write, and I can add to the drive anything I want.

It's just when adding something to iTunes, which is hosted on mentioned disk.

I have issues over eSATA.

-32 errors.

But thats it, otherwise perfect.

And no I don't have it connected via my extreme station. Time Machine has a fit :p
