to connect simply open console and paste this in /connect 217.163.29.109:28960

To add the clan to your favorite list simply
Open Call of Duty 4
Click Join Server
At the top centre it says source keep clicking that untill it says Favorites
Once the source is set he top right it will say Add Favorites
A little box opens with IP ADDRESS click there and enter 217.163.29.109:28960 then press ok Job Done

Hardcore is for low skilled pub servers kthx - Infinity Ward pulled off a work of genius though, making a mode for low skilled people (the VAST majority of the player base) to not only make them think they can do something through playing it but giving it such a name as hardcore to make them think they are playing the game in leetmode when in reality it is far, far from it.
 
^ im afraid thats its for more advanced players mate. hardcore is much harder than normal play and a lot more realistic

Go ahead, explain yourself then. I have played enough of both to know that just isn't true.


The knife, is by far the most powerful weapon on normal servers. Every single Standard match I play I continuously just absord all the fire sent my way, running around drinking bullets, throwing back or running away from the big noob friendly "HOLY **** A GRENADE" indicators while slashing people up. Mind you, you have to be a little careful, as EVERYONE has the ruddy martyrdom perk on.

Maybe if cyborg on cyborg is your thing.
 
Advanced? the advanced players either play mixes or scrims all night and won't be playing it on hardcore... the 90%+ low skill user base this and any other FPS game has will be on public servers often playing stupid things like hardcore (realism mods).

Being more realistic? First off I think you're playing the wrong game entirely, CoD4 is in no way based on an Oz of realism, you're playing Quake3 with M16s hardcore or not.

Harder? lol? its a camp fest... my dad gets pwn scores on hardcore mode and he spends most of his time looking for which key to press next.

If you can't kill people in a couple of shots in a normal server (same goes for the people shooting at you) then you suck anyway... but then you're talking about pub, so you can knife a few people on a specific public normal server? so what? its a public server, you would be lucky to see anyone remotely skilled during a public session. And if you did come up against anyone who can aim you would have a hard time knifing them... plus they have made the knife a bit stupid in cod4, you can face 90degrees from someone and be stood 5 foot away and still get them with it.

Spektor is right.

I've played a Hardcore scrim, it was filled with slow paced camping and hardly any close combat.

"Lets wait at spawn untill they pop out so i can shoot them without dieing"

edit: yea the knife was dumbed down for the majority, its so easy to use lol :/
