Hi there. Anyone fancy speccing me a system. I want to build a system for a flatmate. He mainly uses for internet/email. Also sometimes plays games - so the bigger the better.

I need case, processor, cpu, 2gb ram, GPU, HDD, MB with sound and LAN.

My budget is £350 (until I persuade him to spend more!)

thanks

thats the best i could come up with assuming you dont need a monitor. you should be able to get 3ghz on stock cooling with that cpu if u are lucky and then it should be pretty sweet for the price

Closest I could get-gives you a better GPU than the one above.

thanks for this. I can get a bit more out of the budget now. Is the best way to improve this by 50-80 quid to get a better CPU? what would you recommend?

D

well tbh i would get a decent spu cooler and clock the cpu, should be able to get it to 3GHz from what i hear. then prob invest in 4gb of ram, or a graphcis card upgrade.
if you dont fancy overclocking then i would still just upgrade to 4gb of ram, PERSONALLY.

maybe look at the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro cooler, up the cpu to the 2180/2200 and up the gfx card to a 3870.
