Ya i noticed that, was almost like someone drew on the film with a black pen to resemble a shadow but there was nothing there casting it.

The part where they show jesus pulling the cross.

Yeah like a black marker pen was drawn covering his face and hair, and also on another shot they show just a silhoutte (spelling) instead of him pulling the cross.
