I need a little helping hand either to point out where I'm going wrong or to show me how its done with comments in the code.

I have a mini wish list and most things are fully documented but I've not used API's before other than yesterdays fiddlings.

Anyone got some spare time to skype / email and I'll buy them some early crimbo tipples?

You're probably best just posting the problem you're having for everyone to chip in or at least get an idea about what they'd be taking on by offering you help.

Post it in here and if I get time tonight I'll have a look! I recently battled with Google Maps API, didn't find the documentation helpful unless you were looking to do the exact same thing that they gave in examples.

hey guys I eventually used a guy from get a freelancer, he was a bargain and wrote very neat code on a complex request but thanks for the offers! I know what you mean about the documentation - it didn't help me one bit
