Basically, i currently have my E4500 sitting at 3.0Ghz (273*11) with 1.39 in BIOS, showing 1.360V in CPU-Z at idle.

I am wondering if anybody has run this at something like 400*8, or even a higher multi? I would like to get the 400FSB to run my RAM at 1:1.

So if anyone has an E4500 I would love to hear what you're running.

Thanks :)

Okay, I now have 375*8 to get my 3Ghz. 1.40V in bios, showing still around 1.360 in CPU-Z

I could boot into windows with 400*8, but it BSODed within 10 seconds. This was with around 1.415v in the BIOS, which I didn't really want to go much higher than.

Would I be safe going over 1.41V, it's a 65Nm chip, so should be save at 1.4, right?

try 363*9.0 to Get 3.3Ghz with only 1.34Vcore

that works on my Maximus Formula and temps are 30c on my aftermarket Cooler
after prime 50c..

lol

65nm chips are Ok to have 1.5v through them. I have a duff clocking quad that's been clocked for the past year running folding@home all the time.

So long as your load temps are about 65 the chip will be fine :)
