Currently on Orange and I'm due an upgrade pretty soon.Current phone is a Nokia 6630.

I'm not hopeful of getting a decent upgrade as my Monthly contract plan is £30 and my bills are usually around £33-40, so I'll reckon the only phone that I like the look of that'll they'll offer me is the SPV C600.

Anyone with this phone? How you finding it? Anygood?

Why don't you take out a new contract when your other one runs out if they wont allow you the phone you want? Chances are that you can get the phone you want free, if you take out a new contract. I have the c550, the phone is ok but I'd rather have a nokia again given the chance.

I've got couple of spare O2 Pay as you Go SIM cards so I can always cancel my Orange contract, take my Orange number to O2 for a day, take out a new Orange contract and then bring the number back to Orange. Bit of a hassle to do though.:(

So why not cancel, make it orange pay as you go and then ring up and say you'd like to take out a new contract. Would save the transfer to o2, which would take a lot longer.

The C600 is a good phone, but poor PDA.
Quite good running TomTom, but the screen is small.
I don't use it as a camera/mp3 player etc.

If it wasn't for the small screen I would use it instead of my Qtek 9000 (M5000 etc)

ummm no. the 6630 is better than all the spv's in that range!

the c600 is really no different to the c500 and c550 in use, and i went from a 500 to the 6630.

I don't like the 6630, horrible shape and I think it's too unattractive. As a C550 owner I would pick the C600 over the 6630 any day of the week (mostly because I'm in love with the QVGA screen).

well that's irrelivant really, its still the better phone
Well I'd say that's down to opinion really. I find my phone great for music (Media Player 10 is good I find) with my 1GB card, the screen is great for video and for browsing the net (the QVGA fits a lot more on for the net, and video is clearer). The connectiivity is good with Activesync, also allowing me to use the net for free from the next room with bluetooth if I want to look something up and I'm feeling lazy.
There are things that the 6630 probably does better but I'm just giving my opinion as a happy SPV user.

Phone first for me then PDA features after.

Whats the texting speed like on it?

Texting speed as in can the phone keep up? It certainly seems to and once it knows your words its great.
