Hi guys,

I'm currently playing with Call Manager Express in a bid to increase both my exposure and knowledge of a wider array of kit. I've got the system up and running, but am now attempting to configure extension mobility, but a pre-requisite of which is to create a logout-profile for the phones (or was it DNs?) that I want to be able to make mobile.

Anyway the issue lies with the command voice logout-profile which doesn't appear to exist, regardless of what combination of IOS or CME I use (I've got c2600-adventerprisek9-mz.124-23.bin, c2600-advipservicesk9-mz.124-23.bin, c2600-advipservicesk9-mz.124-25b.bin, c2600-ipvoicek9-mz.124-25a.bin, and c2600-ipvoicek9-mz.124-11.XJ4.bin, along with CME 4.3 and CME 7.1). I'm currently running CME 7.1 on ipvoicek9 124-25a, but the command isn't there. From reading around, it appears that I should have the command:

Cisco.com said:
12.4(11)XW - Cisco Unified CME 4.2 - This command was introduced.

12.4(15)XY - Cisco Unified CME 4.2(1) - This command was introduced.

12.4(15)XZ - Cisco Unified CME 4.3 - This command was introduced.

12.4(20)T - Cisco Unified CME 7.0 -This command was integrated into Cisco IOS Release 12.4(20)T.

Does anyone know anything that I might be missing?

Cheers.

I believe (though don't take it as gospel at all) that some features never got back ported to the IOS revisions for older routers, I'd be interested to know if it works on a 2800/3800 but I don't have one I can safely configure CME on at the moment...

You could also check the technology release train instead, I know it has some DSL commands which are missing from every other...

Looks like I might have to get hold of a 2800 then, still not found anything that supports the theory that my 2651XM can support extension migration with CME.

As Bigredshark stated, it's a case of the 2600 series not being fully supported for CME 7.1 (although the 3800 will support it). The Release Features & Hardware Support document has a list of the supported hardware for each function at the bottom of each section, so for 12.4(24)T it's Cisco UC500, 1800, 2800, 3800 Series Routers, for 12.4(20)T it's Cisco 2800 and 3800 Series Integrated Services, UC500 Series Routers.

I should have a 2801 on the way now so I guess I'll just have to pick up where I left off when that arrives :(

EDIT: Do you happen to know if my NM-HDV will work in either the 2801 or a 3800 series?
