I'm having problems with my windows/blinds

When I moved into this place, I had 2 remotes

One was setup to control 2 of the 3 windows, and the other setup for the other one. I have no idea why.

Today I fitted electric blinds to one of the windows, but I cannot get the remote to recognise the blinds. The Velux site makes it out like you just have to wait a few minutes and register, or you go into system settings, then register.. but it does nothing. Neither remote picks up the missing window(s) either when I go through this process, which makes no sense to me.

Am I missing something obvious here?

Daft question, early Velux used infrared signal, whereas the latest windows use wireless, your not mixing things?

The remote should automatically reconise the added item & set everything up, usually takes several minutes.

Have you tried to completely reset the remote & start from scratch again

Latest VELUX INTEGRA manual here .

Just tried resetting the remote, powered off everything for a while and then powered on again - not picking anything up at all!

Pretty sure I'm not mixing things, they are pretty recent windows

Right, you got power to the windows, blinds.

One other thing I can think off, each remote & product has it's own security key, these must be the same, if not they can not communicate with each other.

See page 83 of manual for details, see my link for manual.

The fun & games I had, that caught me out once, taught me I should read the manual first.:o

Yeah I've been stressing out a bit as the windows are 4m up and I'm only able to do them this weekend because we've got some scaffolding to fit the blinds!

I've now got both remotes on the same key, all windows registered on each, now just trying to get the blinds registered!

Hi guys,

5 years on from your last post I’m having similar issues. I’ve installed two RML electric roller blinds to my GGL electric windows. The windows have power, I can work them with both of my KLR200 remotes but I just can’t find either of the new blinds in the Add New Product menu. It’s driving me mad. Can you help at all please?

The blind installation seemed so simple and It fitted without any problems.
