Anyone with Lian Li Armorsuit P80

After spending a week mulling over a case, I ordered the armorsuit P80. Probably one of the few that likes the looks, and can get over having a door.

Any users out there with them ? Any issues ? Are fans quiet when set to low ? How is chasis for cable management ? Any mods out there for it ?

PC-P80 is an absolutely cracking case. The fans for the most part are quiet, but they can be adjusted too. I normally hate Lian Li stuff with a passion, but this case has really tickled me :) So much infact that it will be my next project case.

there's no real issues with it to be honest, except it is very big inside, so your sytem may look lost inside of it.

Depends on what you see as cable management, in my opinion, It is not the best in the world, but its pretty good. PSU is hidden away up top so that makes things a little easier.

The extra PCI back plates are useful for expanding USB's etc with the mobo header cards.

errr... The door can be hung to open on either side, which is a bonus, as IMO it opens the wrong way by default :P.




By the way, Why do people ask for opinions after they have bought a product? lol
 
Thanks for the info. Makes me feel better in my purchase. I actually didn't think anyone had one on OcUK forums to be honest, after all the negative publicity it got on a thread here recently. Mostly about how ugly it is. But I did do my research and looked at user reviews on other forums. The positives outweighed the negatives which to me are the hassle of a door and is something I can get used to.

I take it the front fans and top fan are prewired to the controller ?
