I'm hoping to get the bios to flash to my card.

Not hoping to unlock shaders or anything, but hoping it sorts an issue am having when don't have stock cooler on.

Eyetrip why don't you try my 290 bios? It will be lower clocked than your current one but you can easily apply the overclock yourself. Worth a try? I've not had one black screen since i got my cards. All black screens have been a fault of me using unstable clocks with a lack of voltage.

Hey Matt, I've recently got a pair of 290s to switch back to Xfire as I've decided to keep my Z30w (just cannot bring myself to sell this epic monitor!). Is their a handy little guide for flashing? I fancy trying your Rom :)

thanks

Bitches love my rom Si. :D

Its really easy, you can use my 7990 guide. The same applies. I can tell you the command now (assuming you use the first two pci-e slots in your mobo)

atiflash -f -p 0 Hawaii.rom - card 1

atiflash -p -f 1 hawaii.rom - card 2

You just need to make the bootable usb stick (as per my 7990 thread) and put all the relevant files (atiflash and Win98 boot files) on the stick.

I'd use the version of atiflash i include for download, as the new version didnt work for me.
