Anyone with Quinn Direct?

As said - technically people are still covered, but in practice - you try to get any sort of service out of them and you'll be extremely lucky.

They're not actually answering the phone as of this afternoon. Service has started to vapourise already, and the announcement is only a few hours old.

Write off your Quinn insured car tomorrow and how long exactly do you think you'll be waiting for your money?

I'm insured with Quinn untill October!

If they've stopped answering there phone how are we suppose to get in touch?

I am also insured with quinn direct. 2 reasons they were the cheapest at the time I took my insurance out. (by £400) And they allow all there drivers to drive other cars 3rd party which I need sometimes to borrow my fathers cars. I really hope I can finnish my policy as I want my first years no claims discount.

Right, so i drive a 1.1 saxo (yes and before you start, it was a cheap car, and i do not drive it in the way most saxo owners would drive !)
The cheapest insurance for me as i was 17 at the time and no- noclaims bonus, was to go with quinn.

They were cheaper by a mile ! Although, still not cheap insurance as it is a saxo and i'm paying out £1800 tpaf.

Seeing is they i wont be able to renew my insurance with them even though i wouldnt have anyway, how will i get the ncb, cause i thought it was generally on the renewal forms? :/

My friend is insured with Quinn Direct. And if I ever bought insurance it would probably have been with them aswell!

They gave me the lowest quote at £3000! The highest was AA at about £16000 for the same car.

I couldnt afford £3000 a year car insurance never mind upto £16k no wonder theres so many uninsured people driving about.

I thought mine was steap at £400 fully comp and no claims protection. I feel sorry for the youth of today.

They should be able to send you a letter which declares your NCB. Assuming the company is still afloat.

I'm with Quinn too, although paid up in full not monthly. Hope it is all okay.

I have a few chips in my windscreen, and with their excess being only £60 for a new screen I decided a few months ago I'll get it done sometime. Seems like sooner than later would be wise at the moment?

what about people who are with quinn directly. are we screwed? i will have 3 years no claims this november.
Well at the moment they are saying business as usual for existing customers. Hopefully they will still be around in 6 months time, they are a large company so fingers crossed....

I am with Quinn as well and have my renewal in October!
