well guys, due to my meagre wages from Ford (yeah wife and 2 kids eat it up pretty quick)

i've decided to take on a part time job, I've decided that door stewarding is now less about being a knuckle dragger and more about being customer focused so ideal for me :)

anyone care to offer me some pointers for an interview ?????

Well are you big enough...? I know bouncers that are beasts, but I also know bouncers smaller than me that can take down 5 guys alone. I can't help with the interview, but you could start by going in a company that will also train you (the certificate can be quite expensive if you do it on your own) for a slightly reduced pay, but once you have that over you will be getting good money.

not the biggest guy height wise 5'8 but have a suitable build in relation to height( 14 stone last time i checked :)

Hey I am 6' and we have the same weight! But again you don't need to be a beast to work as a bouncer, try looking at the jobcentre online for places where you don't need the qualification.

used to help out on the doors a few years back but nothing official,

but its all changed and went touchy feel these days :)

i've seen bouncers that are tiny but very effective, as they're good at chatting to people, and talking them out of doing something stupid, like fighting.

I'd guess most places are just looking for people to do the job, and not some psycho looking for an oppurtunity to dish kickings out to people.

im not a door steward, but I am a bar steward, however i dont like it when people refer to me by my job title.

top tip for the interview.. if the guy who's interviewing you stops you at the door before you go into the room and goes "im sorry but your not coming in" he's joking. Do not go ape at him and state that you were allowed to enter this room only last week. Also dont turn up in trainers.
