Anyone work at Marks & Spencer?

Only thing I'm a bit concerned about is she said they were 'trying something new', so I'm half expecting to be dressed in a penguin outfit handing out samples of fish fingers (or something equally humiliating). :(

Why was it boring?

LOL, the people handing out freebies are usually just in a black M+S t-shirt, and nothing else.

Well, I just had my first day of 'training' and it was horrible. A whole day of corporate video's and 'go team!' monologues. :(

I took a sneaky pic on my phone......

HAHAHAHA love it. Just transport the message from your public advertisements into your staff training to save some money. Perfect!

Yes it's all very cheesy but I'm sure I remember reading that M&S are a "good" company to work for in the retail sector.

My mate did a temp contract in our local one. He was in at 6am doing the shelf filling. Got a good discount on the shopping and apparently was decent enough to work for. I have about 6 mates who work in morrisons and they say the staff are like mini hitlers.
