Anyone work behind a bar?

If you ever end up working behind the bar, please, but PLEASE...

LEARN HOW TO POUR A PROPER PINT OF GUINNESS !
This might even get you some extra tips trust me ;-).

Agree here, however where I live (south-east) it is more about how the Guinness is stored rather than how it is poured - makes all the difference...

I considered working behind a bar before, but its really difficult to get a job. All the jobs here are mostly taken by uni students and stuff.

I used to, and I can honestly say it was the most enjoyable job I've had to date. Though it was in a country pub where it was usually the same regulars and all over 30. Good times.

Only the DPS needs a personal License, you are then authorized to sell alcohol under their License.

In Scotland, since September 2009 all bar workers are required to hold a SCRSA - Responsible Service of Alcohol Scotland under the Licensing Act.

Ahleckz, it's only £15 or so though. Hardly a bank breaker!
