Hi,
I'm looking to get an empty Lucozade Sport bottle (as per here) - one of the ones with the new(ish) valve cap, where you can either squeeze the bottle or suck and the fluid comes out, then when you release the pressure it self-seals. I need an empty one, before any Lucozade goes in, because I want to use it as a water bottle and once it's had Lucozade in the taste never goes away.

I've tried contacting Lucozade customer service and they can't help. So I'm posting here in the (probably vain) hope that someone who frequents this forum works at Lucozade, or the supplier for their bottles, and is able to get hold of a couple of them for me before the Lucozade gets added. There's a fiver in it + postage for anyone who can help!

Alternatively, if anyone could point me towards the same style of drinks bottle but sold with only water in (or empty, of course), I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Well.... Evian does a bottle like what your after.. Tescos have them next to pre packed sandwiches etc...

Or, erm... Just nip into a sports shop and buy a water bottle. Easy to come by.

er goto a shop and buy one? they are not special shops sell them with all the other drinks in the refridgerated section.

oh you want an empty one i suggest you pour out the lucozade or drink it then wash the bottle

I challenge anyone to walk into a shop and buy what I am looking for: a bottle with a self-sealing valve cap, empty or with unflavoured water in.

You don't have to like what I'm looking for, you don't have to understand it - but it fulfills a different purpose than the 'default' water bottle design of either a wide open bottle top or a silly valve you have to pull open with your teeth/hand whatever.

you need to buy a proper bottle. getting a crappy plastic one from lucozade is retarded as it will only last a few uses and you arent supposed to reuse them too many times anyway as the plastic can start to release chemicals into the drink.

Sounds healthy :D

Are you sure we're talking about the same valve system?
I think he's one of the few people who is, quite a lot of shower gels have the same thing, also squeezy bottles of sauce(ketchup etc) do.

Considering how blannd lucozade sport is I'm surprised you can't just empty one out, give ti a soak in some hot water first and you'll be fine
