Hi Peeps
I have a question that has been bothering me for a while and the interwbes hasn't afforded mean answer.
I stay in Premier Inns a lot for work and eat in Brewers Fayre, Beefeater and the like regularly 1 or 2 nights a week before lockdown and now again after.
I can't remember hearing a song playing that I actually knew. Now I accept I'm old-ish for new music (40's) but I do listen to RadioX and Planet Rock regularly and so some new music does cross my path. But I can't remember having ever recognised a song in the Premier Inn or associated Whitbred pub.
Does anyone who has worked for them know if they buy their own music to avoid royalty payments because the music is all very generic and very of the same lyrical style?
Where I have failed I trust the brains trust of GD can prevail.
