looking at upgrading my notebook. fancy something new.

is there anything better than the nc10 but on the same price scale?? £250 max

Probably a good choice to go with the NC10 doesn't need any upgrading. I got an eee1000 and I am constantly annoy by the size and change of possession of the right shift key. I almost always end up hitting the "up arrow" key instead which is extremely annoying.

HP Mini 210 ?

I got one, it has the new N450, 1G Ram, windows 7, almost full size touchpad, 9 cell battery that last like 8 hours+

'Lo Mondo. Can you recommend the HP Mini 210 then? I've been umming and ahing about getting a netbook. I was thinking of getting the HP Mini 210 but held off for a bit. Now the interest has returned! :D

I've been pondering getting a netbook running the N450 chip so I could run W7 x64, upgrading the RAM from 1Gb to 2Gb and changing the HDD to an SSD. I also want a netbook running Bluetooth so not many netbooks meet the two pre-purchase criteria of N450 and onboard Bluetooth.

Any opinions you could offer on the HP Mini 210 would be brill so I can decide whether I'm on the right track or if I need to look at another netbook. :)

I haven't used anything nicer than an NC10 yet, although the battery life isn't as long as some of these newer netbooks.

Why not check out the ASUS Eee PC range? 1001P/1005P(E) are the ones to go for. Intel N450 Processors, 1GB RAM (2GB max), 160/250GB HDD - depending on model, option of 500GB online storage also, 11+ hour battery life. Should be able to get those well within budget as well.

If you want something with a bit more oomph, there's the 1201N from ASUS which rocks a dual core Atom 330 processor, 2GB RAM, Win7 HP - bit more expensive though :p
