Anything called setup.exe can't use ActiveX

Does anyone know how to fix this? It's not usually an issue because I can usually rename the file, but sometimes - like when an .exe is called by an MSI - it is an issue.

What is the program? I thought ActiveX was long gone.

Struggling to make sense of this post. Renaming a file would make no difference here I would think.

If there is an issue running executables (.exe) then the OS should generate an error.

If this is what’s happening, then we would need to know the error message and whether all executable programs are affected or just one in particular.

Please elaborate Mr DMZ
