Guess this guy does work for them though... But we use starwind a lot and for the past 3 years has proven fairly solid.

Only time we had problem when we used starwind write-back cache feature and then had a memory leak which then dropped the targets
 
Test & development tend to become a production @ least in some cases so I'd better warn...

Where in the OP did he state that he was in a production environment? ;) He states he's using trial software, which suggests to me a LAB, home or self teaching environment. Naturally this may not be the case, but my point still stands.
