Anything different about U.S gpus?

A good friend of mine has offered to send me an Asus Gtx 780 from the states, are there any potential issues surrounding compatibility? Logically I'd say not but I want to be sure!

Just be aware that you may get caught out on import + VAT + duty + royal mail clearance charge.

Warranty issues would be annoying as you'd have to probably send it back to your friend.

My 7950 is from the states. Just register it for the warranty in the UK. You don't need to send it back to the US - we live in a global economy people.
