This PC I plan on building I want to be able to do anything as my future career will involve everything to do with computers not just gaming (editing). I have also made it compact so I can take it with me anywhere and made it as quiet as possible. Here is my current plan;

MSI GeForce GTX 670 OC Twin Frozr Power Edition 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail
Samsung 256GB SSD 830 Notebook/Apple Series SATA 6Gb/s KIT with Norton Ghost - (MZ-7PC256N/EU)
Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe (Socket 1155/Intel Z77.DDR3/S-ATA 600/Mini ITX)
Antec Kúhler H2O 920 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler (LGA775 / LGA1155 / LGA1156 / LGA1366 / AM2 / AM2+ / AM2+ / AM3+)
LG BH10LS38 10x BluRay-RW / 16 x DVD±RW Lightscribe Drive - Black (OEM)
Seasonic G series 550w '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply
Corsair XMS3 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
(CMX16GX3M2A1600C11)

Now after saving for two years I finally have enough but if I wait another three months I can have around £1200-£1500. So I am wondering should I buy anything else i7, faster ram, bigger power supply, more hard drives, gaming mouse or keyboard or a monitor. I do currently have a keyboard and mouse and will put my PC onto my TV if I do not get a monitor.

So what do you guys think?

Thanks.

Budget for a decent monitor (24"+). Doing any serious work on a TV would be unpleasant at best.

Drop the Blu-ray drive unless you actually need Blu-ray support.

No mention of a case or an OS in your list.

You can use the CUDA support from the 670 GPU to make up for the loss of hyperthreading that the i7 would give you. Think i'd sandwich the antec rad between the prodigy fans and I added a large fan for the front.

This mobo is voltage locked but it is cheaper and you can still overclock, it includes wifi which is a nice touch. You won't need more than 500W on the PSU, this one is gold rated for efficiency, you picked it out as well good on you ;)

You can buy an IPS screen later, no harm in using a TV to start. Hope this helps

I forgot to mention that I will not need an OS as I am going to transfer mine. I must have deleted my case but that was my one of choice. So you don't think that I should get a 7970 or a 670 with a better cooler. What about the ram I am sure my MB can take faster. Could I get around the same overclocks on this board 4.2 for example.

The MSI Forzr IV 670 doesn't use the reference cooler fella. RAM over 1600mhz on this socket makes very little odds, I tried to get you 16GB for the best price I could. Because you can't adjust the voltage you can't push for really high overclocks but I would think 4.2Ghz is definately reachable, I know it's been done on that mobo.
