There must be a way to find out, its a shame that power consumption isn't somethinng that companies always make available when they release their specs, or at least it isn't always listed on e-stores.

I had always been told that under 50% load power supply's got less efficient...

No confusion here just wanting to try and find out what psu I can get I thought if I was to get one with a wattage as close to the overall 100% load draw of the rig I could save money and increase efficiency.
