Anything I should look out for when selling private?

I'm looking to sell my Honda CBF 125 privately to get as much as I can out of it.

I've never sold a vehicle before. Is there anything I should be looking out for? Any payment types etc. that I should avoid?

Cash on collection or bike is not released until the money is cleared into your account (Cheque, bank transfer etc).

No paypal or any of that crap.

If someone is agreeing to buy the bike but pay later, take a deposit.

You cannot really go wrong as long as you are making sure you have the cash before letting the bike go.

Never let them test ride on their own.. Take them pillion if you can.
