I'm building my first ever pc and the components so far are
Antec NSK 2480 Desktop Case - Black/Silver (380W Earth Watts PSU) £89.99
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300 "LGA775 Core 2" 2.60GHz (800FSB) - Retail £52.99
OCZ Gold Edition 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Series (OCZ2G8004GK) £41.39
MSI M3-F Intel G31 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard £38.99
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (ST3500418AS) £36.98
I've read all the newbies guides to overclocking but having never done it before I still have a few questions I'm afraid.
I'm looking to overclock my CPU and RAM. I'm using the stock CPU fan and was wandering if there was anything I should look out for as I obviously do not want to damage my equiptment. I've been reliably informed that the E5300 is ideal for overclocking because of its clock ratio?
