Got a 6 month tesco voucher Disney plus subscription and I feel within a few weeks I'm 'looking' for stuff to watch.

Parked netflix for a bit as run out of stuff there. But that took years!

Nothing really grabs me and I'm starting to think only reason is popular is because of parents with kids?

Generally I like animated series/sci fi/action/fantasy

Highlights from netflix are. Dota, arcane, Castlevania, stranger things, sabrina, shadow and bone, dragon prince, troll hunters, etc etc... The list is long!

On D+ I've watched:
Mandalorian (half way through)
Wandavision (pretty good to be fair)
Family guy (a rewatch)
Probably will finish the walking dead, got bored of it when it was on.

But apart from this I can't see anything interesting.

Is it just that I'm not D+ target audience? Series in particular seem extremely lacking.
Or is it hard to find stuff?

I also have to say it's chromecast integration is garbage vs netflix. And rememberimg where you were in a series too.

My Name Is Earl
What We Do In The Shadows
Scrubs
Only Murders In The Building is supposed to be very good, but I haven't watched any of it yet.
Bobs Burgers
What about the Clone Wars cartoons? They seem to fulfill all your 'likes' in one.

I actually think it's one of the better streaming services available at the moment.

We've been watching X Files on it, onto the last season now. Other than that I tend to watch Bobs burgers and American dad. We did watch all the Star Wars films in order recently and that was nice as it's not something I've ever done before

Clone wars looks like a good suggestion I'll try this.

It mostly seems to be older stuff. If you're not into Marvel/Star Wars then I'm not sure what there really is for newer content.

I'm a bit marvel bored. Got fatigue about half way through when the films were coming thick and fast.

Star wars is OK. Its not as good as old trek (imo). But I think the universe has potential.

But yes as I'm less into films and happy to rewatch a few older things. But new content doesn't seem there.

I think I'll be back with netflix in 2 months!

I did similar a month or two back, finally kicked Netflix for Disney.

Really enjoyed Mandalorian, half way through Boba Fett now but nowhere near as good. Dropout I thought was very good but I have been following the podcast / story / court case for a few years so knew what was going on.
I am not big on Marvel stuff but Moonknight looks good, will start that next.

Aside from the Stars Wars stuff I mostly have just used it to dip into older movies and series I've not watched in awhile - there isn't a vast amount of new stuff (aside from the kids stuff) unless you'll just watch anything or have very broad tastes.

Only Murders In The Building is supposed to be very good, but I haven't watched any of it yet.

I wouldn't say it was bad, I guess not really my thing, but I got bored with it after a few episodes, supposedly about the point it gets good but it wasn't grabbing me personally.

Opening myself to ridicule - but I've also been spending the odd nostalgia-hazed half hour watching Golden Girls. :D

Say what you like, Sophia is fantastic.
I’m close to doing this as I loved the show back in the day lol. Sophia is just so blatant with her quips that she was my favourite cast member.

I wish Cheers was on there too as I recall Friday nights being comedy night on Chan4 when Golden Girls, Cheers and Fraiser would air back to back.

Disney+ is brilliant imo. Like any streaming service it’ll be personal depending on the content. I’ve been watching a ton of X-Files again as well as the Planet of the Apes films which I love.

I only watch films on Disney+ when watching on my own

With the kids, I watch Simpsons and Futurama.

All the TV shows on there are old or Star Wars, as far as my brief searches have ever really offered up.

Cheers is on early mornings on Ch4 - just record some to watch at a more suitable time.
