Discovered the magic chill out music that is Bonobo.

Can anyone spec me some similar stuff, I've probably heard of most of the mainstream stuff - guessing a lot of people would jump to Massive Attack etc.

Cheers

Investigate the Ninja Tune label.
They have some ****ing amazing mixes. The XX 20 year anniversary is a 5 CD spectacular.
Listen to the Solid Steel mix albums. They are truly brilliant.

As for artists..

The Cinematic Orchestra

Aim
Boards of Canada
Amon Tobin
Avalanches
Coldcut
Cornelius
DJ Food
The Herbaliser
DJ Vadim
DJ Shadow
Dorian Concept
Flying Lotus
Four Tet
Funkstörung
Hexstatic
Jaga Jazzist

Kid Koala
DJ Kentaro
Lemon Jelly
Mr Scruff
Nightmares on Wax
Paul Kalkbrenner
Plaid
RJD2
Zero 7 and Morcheeba (at a push)

OK, so there's a lot of stuff that isn't anything like Bonobo, but it's all brilliant :p

I can highly recommend anything and everything recorded by Bonobo. Try and seek everything out. His Solid Steel mix is excellent.
Lemon Jelly are very similar, but less serious. Plaid is great too.

I discovered Flevans and Diesler at the same time I found Bonobo. Not exactly chilled out all of the time, but I found them to go together fairly well.

Also I would highly recommend Hint if you like Bonobo, his first two albums are fairly relaxed. His new stuff is of a different take, one that I enjoy but none the less it's no longer chilled out.

If you happen to enjoy something even a bit more relaxed then you may be heading towards the "post rock" genre. Something like The American Dollar (A Memory Stream is a wonderful album) and quite possibly Ulrich Schnauss (although I doubt he's "post rock").

On top of the above, I would say check something of what Tru Thoughts happen to offer. He was signed with them first after all ;)

Have to say out of all the stuff recommended, I'm loving them the most. Really chilled.

Loved Bonobo for a while now. They're new album is even better.

A few more that I listen to:

Blue States
Aim
Coldcut
Thievery Corporation
Cut Copy
De-Phazz
dZihan & Kamien
Fever Ray
Helios
Jazzanova
Koop
Kyoto Jazz Massive
Nicola Conte
Nightmares on Wax
Nitin Sawhney
RJD2

And for chillout in general, you can't go wrong with the entire Cafe del Mar catalogue. It's also great for finding out other artists, in fact more than half of the artists I listed above I found because they had a track on a Cafe del Mar volume.
