Anything like FORZA on PC

Hi

I'm after a decent racing motor-sport game for PC... I don't want it to be ultra-realistic like iRacing as I want to play using a pad but at the same time I don't want it to be 'arcadey'... As the title suggests something like FORZA on PC would be great... If anything I want it to be more towards a racing-sim as long as i can play it with a pad.

Cheers!

Sadly, we are neglected in games like these. Gran Tourismo or Forza for PC would have me in convulsions

GRiD (1) was the last decent attempt IMO, we have lots of anorak clad sims and some more arcady games though :(

I don't think theres really anything like them apart from the shift games.
PC racing tends to be an extreme of either simulation or arcade.

maybe project cars and asseto corsa would be ideal but they are not released yet

Project cars seems to be the option once its released.

I asked the same question not long ago.

To be honest the best thing to do is buy a secondhand Xbox/PS3 and play Forza/GT5 on console.

But as said, Assetto Corsa and pCARS will be as close as we get on PC when they're released.

I still reckon race07 with all the exp packs is probably the best were gona get near to forza and gt from the consoles, its the biggest racing game on pc due to all the exp packs stuff that u can get.

Likewise. I also have a PS3 just for when GT5 came out.... Certainly didn't get my moneys worth on the latter. It just collects dust now!

Ditto. Makes a half decent Blu-Ray and Netflix player with the bluetooth remote thingy, so it wasn't an epic waste of money.

I bought a secondhand xbox with Forza 2 as a stopgap while waiting and waiting and waiting for GT5. Glad I did now.

This question has been asked many times, myself included.

wasn't there a rumour going around that Microsoft will allow xbox exclusives onto the pc? I highly doubt it would happen but Forza on the pc would just dominate the market!

Mine doesn't even get used for that, housemate has a PS3 already downstairs in the lounge and I've got a Pi in there for any other Media. Expensive paper weight at the moment! Should probably flog it before it's worthless...

You could always stick it in the MM ....at a decent price;)

I asked this question too. GRiD and SHIFT are the best you can get. I liked DRIVER: San Francisco (I think that is the name) but its noting like Forza, except that it has a car lol. Its more like Burnout.

Theres only one Forza Im afraid, gonna need a 360 to enjoy it. Theres nothing on PC like it. Can recommend Forza 4 or Horizon for the freedom/free roam.
