After some feedback on an earlier I decided to build this for normal daily use and to be able to play League of Legends, Starcraft 2, World of Warcraft at full settings on 1920x1080. Eventually I'd also like it to be able to run Guild Wars 2 relatively well.

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - OEM £161.99
MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte P67A-UD3 Intel P67 Chipset (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard - (Sandybridge) £96.38
GFX: XFX ATI Radeon HD 6850 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE MOH Game £134.99
RAM: Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C8 1333MHz Dual-Channel (CMX4GX3M2A1333C8) £44.99
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB Cache - OEM (ST3500413AS) £30.98
CASE: Coolermaster Elite 370 Case - Black £33.70
PSU: OCZ StealthXStream 2 500W Power Supply £40.99
FAN: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 CPU Cooler (Socket 939 / AM2 / AM3 / 775 / 1155/ 1156 / 1366) £17.99
DVD: Sony Optiarc AD-5260S 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM £14.98
DISPLAY: Dell Ultrasharp U2311H 23" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Midnight Grey £221.99

TOTAL: £798.97

Thoughts please?

Motherboard?

HD5850 can be had for £114.99 and is faster :)

Hyper 212+ can be had for £15 and is much much better.

Rest of the build is good though!

lol sorry forgot to list it! its included in £800 :) will update OP

Gigabyte P67A-UD3 Intel P67 Chipset (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard - (Sandybridge) £96.38

is the 5850 marginally faster? won't the 6850 fare better with future drivers since its newer?

you will want the B3 revision of that motherboard with the fixed sata slots.

hopefully the saving on the graphics cards will compensate for the extra cost

*edit*

Better?

edit: sry Reaper hadnt seen your edit.. theyre practically the same except PSU. is there a marked difference? I've also opted for the OCZ Ram @ 1600 - is this ok?

Not really. Keep the OCZ.

Looks good to me - hope you've had a look around at prices though, as previously mentioned you can get the Hyper 212+ for a mere £15 in P&P.

Oh, that ram can't be used. It doesn't run (or isn't recommended to run) at 1.5v :p Swap it out for the OCZ Platinum

well, the OCZ one only has 1 cable for powering the graphics card whereas the bequiet has 2. im pretty sure the 5850 needs two. this isnt really a problem, as you could use a 2x 4 pin molex to PCIe power lead which will almost certainly be provided with the card.

the main reason i picked the Bequiet is because it is one of the brands i know is really good. OCZ may be another, but im not sure.

stulid, any chance of the opinion of the grand master of computer knowledge?

*edit*
bad translation from brain to keyboard, that was meant to say opinion

Spec looks great, change PSU to either the Bequiet or the 600w version of that OCZ which is £50, has the two pci-e connectors and nice braided cables.
