Anything similar to Google Wave?

Is there any other application similar to Google Wave? A need has arisen an work where we will start to use the functionality of Wave but I understand it's being killed off at the end of the year.

Is there any other application or service that will allow:
Collaborative Chat between several users - this needs to be saveable like Wave
Collaborative editing of lists or documents

Google Docs will take care of the collaborative document sharing and editing, but what about Chat?

Also, with Google Wave, do all the users have to have separate Google accounts, or can one account have several different users with separate user names?

you could use skpe for chat we use it at work to talk to collegues in india..

Yes I've thought about Skype, but can one save the different conversations? by chat I mean typed chat vs talking chat.

Wave is being open sourced, so you'll probably still be able to use it once google pull the plug.
