Anything to do in stoke?

Might have to check out the Malt & Hops:p

Apart from pubs, is there anywhere worth going to see?

Theres the museum in hanley. Got a huge spitfire in it, and its haunted too apparently.

Also in hanley you can visit the house where Captian Smith of the Titanic was born. Cant remember the street name but its the corner house :p

There is plenty to do in stoke but it's a very spread out city. If you don't know the area it will seem like small town after suburb after small town for miles. If you only have a few hours then i'd say you got 2 choices. Either get a taxi/bus to Hanley and find you way from their to do something or as someone else mentioned, go to the go kart track which is only a 5min walk from OcUK

That goes past Azagoths Street around 55 secs
Goes under my roundabouts at 1 min 25 secs
Goes past the Malt & Hops at 2 min 07 secs
Past the top of Duke Street at 2min 11 sec (walk down there and you'll find OCUK)

quite liked that video! goes to show how it would be hard work for someone that doesnt know the area. Where is the traffic on the video? it's not often you see it that quiet.

Sorry to post this, but what is the quickest way to get to ocuk from the train station, and what is the cheapest but fastest way to get around?

Driving is not an option as I cannot drive.

1.63 miles from Stoke Station to OCUK.
To be honest I'd get straight back on the train.

Conclusions from this thread just for the OP:

Stoke sux. Only nabs go there. Pink is where to go for poon. Azagoth doesnt like a certain bar because it don't play metal no more. Spie lives there. OcUK lives there.

And finally....

there is a train station and a bus park where u can leave your park.

Enjoy your stay in Stoke.

Get a bus from either side of the road outside the rail station which will take you to either longton or hanley bus station and cost £1.50, then if you go to hanley get a number 6 bus to victoria place, another £1.50. If you went to longton, get a number 6 or 28 to victoria place, cost £1

If you plan on doing the return journey it will be cheaper to ger a first day ticket for £3.70 which gives unlimited travel

Take plenty of carrier bags tho as ocuk dont give them out.
