Anything worth upgrading yet?

I have the following I'm considering upgrading

4770k
Gigabyte G1 Sniper Z87
8gb 2400mhz Teamgroup ram
R9 290 Tri-X

Case is a Phantek Enthoo Primo, PSU is 1000w Leadex platinum, cooler I'm buying a Cryorig R1 Ultimate as my current Antec 950 Kuhler I find disappointing however these parts are all decent and I won't be swapping for a while.

I'm wondering if there is any mileage in adding or swapping the ram, CPU or motherboard? Perhaps going to a z97 motherboard or adding more ram? Swapping the ram for a better version etc? Devils Canyon worth trading my 4770k in for?

The 290 will get replaced with anther AMD card soon when the new gen arrive as I'm moving to a freesync screen

There is nothing worth swapping out or replacing.

Swapping CPU will gain little, 8Gb RAM is fine for gaming.

Do you have a nice keyboard and mouse? Is you CPU overclockers?

SSD?

what res you running at? Maybe try 1400p if you not already on that?

I would add a SSD, and save rest of your money for a freesync monitor. If you want grab another 8gb of ram if you do anything that requires more ram.

Have a Logitech g510 keyboard and a Logitech mouse which I'm happy with, have an SSD as well and I'm moving to a Freesync 1440p 144hz panel this year once the new AMD gpu are out

So pretty much stick with what I have for now I guess then? No biggy I will just add another SSD and some more ram I guess while waiting on new gpu and monitor releases

Yeah I'd stick with the same setup, nothing worth upgrading as of yet.
