Anything wrong with my line ?

you have a good low Attn(dB) which means you should get 8meg easily but you SNR looks low which is not good, have you plugged you line directly into the master socket?

it's all engineer hard wired

he ran a master box upstairs next to the pc where i connect to, it runs back downstairs to a rats-nest of cables leading to the other phones in my house

i got pics of it all if u want to see :P

i only have wires connected to number 2 and 5 in your 3rd picture, the wire connected to number 3 is a ring cable is not needed and seems to be the cause of bad SNR. you could remove it to see if it helps.

forgot to mention that its illegal to touch anything on the master socket as it belongs to BT, so do at your own risk

k thanks ill remove the ringwire see if it makes any diff

yeh theres wires behind the adsl faceplate which is the master socket, i haven't touched it at all

I'd be inclined to try and get all that grey wiring dealt with because it's unlikely to be helpful. Interleaving being enabled is unlikely to help any too.
