what if im not overclocking.

Then give yourself a slap. Shame on you. You spec a rig like that and no clocking? Should hit 4Ghz with that spec. That GSkill kit is probably one of the best kits you can get. There are some pretty good results over at XS with that stuff.

If you don't decide to clock it ( :( ) then do as C64 says and go for the Black Dragon kit.

sorry, i dont have experience with overclocking and i dont have any spare parts incase something goes wrong, havent built a pc in over 5 years.

and i was going for a quiet system.

It is'nt hard and it is not very risky these days. I have'nt broken anything by overclocking, ever. There are plenty of guides and loads of us here to help. You can still have a quiet system. Most of us still hate noise even though we overclock. The only thing extra that you need to buy is a decent aftermarket cooler.

ok i will get the corsair or the Gskill.
ive added a Arctic Cooling Alpine 7 Pro for the CPU and also a better 120MM fan for the case.

but what cooler is reccomended for a 4850 that is quiet and effective?

just remember that if something does go wrong and you need to RMA the CPU - you only ever used the stock cooler - 3rd party cooler? you don't know what they are talking about! :D

Stupid warrany as most the the 3rd party coolers out there are better than the intel ones, but I had to go out and buy someone else's cooler to send back with my Q6600 that died on me - so don't go throwing it away.
