Anyway not to reodnwload uplay games?

Hi i just re installed windows from a new system build and was wondering how i can install/execute the uplay games i already downloaded and installed on a seperate hdd from my last system build?

In steam i can simply navigate to my steam location and just click on steam to re-initialise itself and im ready to go but i tried the same by clicking on the uplay shortcut icon and doesnt do anything?

Surely i dont have to redownload all the uplay games again?

Never used uplay but what if you installed the uplay program on the same drive as the games are rather than the c drive?

not sure, it may override the games already installed

I am not sure there is a way though I have never needed to do it. On the tablet at the moment will have a look later when back to the desktop.

i found and did this after searching and worked

shut down uplay, go to C:/Program files (x86)/Ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher/data/273 - you'll see folder "manifest" and file " uplay_install.state" - remove/rename them both.

where "273" is that's the games folder, each game has a different number like steam so find what number your game is. start uplay and for me it said play
