USB, I think it's a good price plan also. You would need to install driver I assume I know nothing about smartphone and if this is possible.

There are some of the chinese tablets that support a 3g dongle but there would be no reason for a smartphone to do it as it's already built in.

The only reason I was thinking as with T-mobile dongle you pretty much get unlimited for £5 a month.

How much data do you actually use? With the plethora of wifi networks I have at home, work and many places I find myself I barely use any these days. The biggest data user in my world is when I use my phone for sat nav...

Ah right, as I said I know nothing about SP's, so you can just use hotspots. What do you think of the galaxy ace 2, a good budget phone?

I've read about some mobile dongles working with Android through an OTG cable.

Don't the usb dongles have a sim card inside? Could just take it out and put it in a Mifi or something? :p

MiFi devices are 100 times better than USB dongles, but they come at a cost... which could well buy you the data you want anyway...

My mother in law has an Ace 2 I think. She can't use it to save her life so it must be decent :D
