Anyway to access a iPhone without knowing the passcode?

Fair enough :) Learn something new everyday at least! Bit surprised though that Apple public state they will never allow data extraction based on them not storing encryption keys. Yet there seems to be a pretty easy method for law enforcement agencies to simply bypass security that Apple states cannot be bypassed :)

Could be that Caged, pre iOS 8 yeah, definitely able to bypass passcode, since iOS 8 I thought it was impossible.

For this reason I have a book with all of my information in. Not only in case, but for when I forget it myself.

You could try the most likely combinations for the passcode, going off birthdays, years, pin number, etc.
 
I have a similar problem. The iPhone is only running iOS 7.x but doesn't have Siri/control centre available from lock screen. Is there any software which I can use to remove the passcode?
