Hi there,

I got my EOS 350d today. Is there anyway I can just browse the images on the flash card that i have taken through finder?

er yeah,

plug it in,
and on your left hand navigation bar,
it will appear underneath "network" (3rd one down) as a removable drive (with a little circle to the right of the text which is the safely eject button)

once youve clicked that tab all of the folders and files are in there that you should be able to view in various different ways.

hope that helps

I know i didnt ask the question but thanks for sharing that with us, i've been trying to work this out for about two months lol.

It doens't show up.

Ive also tried changing the Connection type in the camera's menu's to "PC Connection"

The camera works - I can access the photos using iPhoto or Image Capture, just can't see it as a removeable drive in Finder (which I would prefer)

Load Disk Utility (Applications > Utilities) and see if it appears in there. If it does, select and and click the 'Mount' icon.

Buy one. It's generally better transferring files through a card reader, rather than the camera. Saves battery for one. Got one here for £6, used it for Smartmedia, XD and Compactflash (brother has a 350D)
