Afternoon,

Just curious to know if there is anyway to bypass certain UAC prompts. Everytime i start my machine im always prompted to allow MSI Afterburner to start which is what i want just kinda annoying that it asks everytime. I dont want to turn it off as i kinda like what it does, just wanna know if there is anyway to add exceptions to it?

Many thanks

I don't think there is a way to add exceptions.

Since you want Afterburner to load on startup, you could probably get around it with task scheduler.

Are you on Vista or 7? I don't get a UAC prompt on 7 for Afterburner at all.

Hi mate im on windows 7, i get my afterburner prompt everytime i startup, how would i go about setting up a work around fix with task schedular?

thanks again

You can try setting a schedule to run it but I found it to be a bit hit and miss in W7, instead, I call a batch file on startup, this i turn uses Runas to call and run msi afterburner :) Never fails.

I get the same thing when I try to load CPUz - every time, the UAC checks that I really wanted to click it... I just turned UAC off lol
