Hi,

I'm trying to sort all of my email addresses to auto-forward to a Google Mail account. I have this working for all of my accounts but one - My University account.

My university account using Outlook Web Access (OWA) and has a Rule section where I tried to set up a rule to forward any email to the Google Mail account but that never worked. I don't understand while and I'll contact admin about this - Perhaps this disabled it?

Anyways, my Uni account also works using IMAP. Unfortunately Google Mail can only check POP. Is there anyway to get Google Mail to check this account?

My worst case idea, and not sure if this is possible and plus don't have the facilities to do it, is to get POP email address that can collect IMAP which will Google Mail can then check. Seems like a very long winded route, though.

Any ideas?

Cheers.

Just rang the network admin after finding that it is a setting on Exchange System Manager that stops "Rules" from working. The university are not prepared to alter this setting.

Nor are they prepared to give me POP access.

With this in mind, is there anyway to "convert" an IMAP mailbox to a POP one? I only want new emails to be forwarded... Therefore I was hoping I could possible use a email account which can check IMAP and then either forward them on automatically or give POP access... Is this possible? Any free webmail able to do this?

Cheers.
