No guys don't worry, I'm not mad enough to use them.. but a friend is
(and yes I've now got them thinking of changing).
I hate AO[Hel]L with a passion, but standing there saying "AOL are crap" isn't going to fix my friends internet.
I've got here a spare Netgear DG834GT (I use it as a second AP). Is there any way I can load into it the relevant settings for it to connect to AOL? I.E. Just have it running as a modem-router. No AOL software, not using the "special AOL router" or anything.
IIRC it's got an ADSL2+ modem in it, but I don't have a clue what settings AOL uses and why AOL insist on installing a crap piece of software on their customers PCs.
Cheers,
