AOC AG352UCG6 Vs Acer Predator Z35P

Folks, I already ordered the AG352UCG6 , but something in the back of my mind is saying to go for the Z35P....

What are your thoughts?

The AOC is a 120Hz but the Z35P is being advertised as 100Hz, but reviews say it is 120Hz?

Probably the same panel.

Both 100Hz native but overclockable to 120Hz.

You're right it is the same panel according to this: https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/comparison/75136b72d

However it seems the AOC is be default able to work at 120Hz according to the DP input details wheres the Acer needs to be overclocked to 120Hz.

But Im just weary about the Z35P which is now more than a year old I think wheres the AOC is based on a revised version of the same panel:

Pcmonitors.info liked the AG352UGC6. There's a video review there as well, which is worth watching.

This was the screen I was going to buy before I decided I probably couldn't put up with the smearing and blur in games from a VA panel. It looks really nice if you like VAs.

Im coming from a 3 x ASUS VS24AHL, do you think I will see better performance gaming wise with the AOC?

You ought to get the X34P that's on offer, 120Hz IPS goodness

I would but I had a few bad experiences with the X34P so decided to with the VA panel 35" variants.

Plus I need an extra inch

Just received my AG352UGC6.
Two words. Blown away.

In the meantime, I need to sell my triple monitor setup but haven't a clue how much they could be worth and if in fact its even worth selling considering couriers dont cover panels?

@Cavallino Still a few monitors sold on the members market, can always do pick up only but personally I'd rather spend 6 months flogging them at a reduced price on the OCUK MM than even look at ebay etc.

Definitely agree with the bit about ebay!
Not sure what I would put 3 X VS24AHLs for though....

No worries.

So I am playing so Battlefield 1 yesterday.
My frame rate is bounding around 90-100fps.

However my monitor refresh is set to 120Hz.

Does this mean there is going to to be a performance issue with regards to dropped frames and the like?

Or would the fact that having Gsync helps to correct this because the monitor matches the output frame rate of the GPU?

P.S. LOVING this monitor.
