I'm looking to make the jump into a 1440p 144Hz panel and I've been doing quite a bit of research but since I'm nowhere near an expert on monitors I'm hoping for some help if you can.
Some quick requirements that I was after: 1440p, 144hz, Freesync/Gsync, IPS or VA (or at least not TN), at least 1 HDMI port and then HDMI/display port. I'll be using it as a PC gaming monitor primary but will also be using it for PS4 Pro/Xbox one and then PS5/next xbox when they come out. I was debating a 4k monitor due to this but the other requirements meant it would be £1500+ for that so I'm sticking with 1440p.
So the models I've found and seen referenced that seem to fit my requirements are these:
AOC:

Gigabyte:

As I mentioned I really don't know much about monitors so would someone be able to "explain it like I'm 5" the differences outside of spec for me? They look pretty much identical at first glance other than it being SVA vs IPS and curved vs non curved. I'm not a huge fan of curved monitors but theres quite a price difference (at the moment at least).
EDIT: There is also the Acer XF270HUA at £495ish which unfortunately is not available through OCUK so I can't link it's specs at all and that looks fantastic too so any input on that would be appreciated.
